Find last year's b-roll without scrubbing: 737 clips from one road trip

The fastest way to find old b-roll is to search it by what happened, not by file name. In 2020 we rode electric skateboards along the coast and came home with 737 clips from mirrorless cameras, action cams, a drone and a 360 camera, named things like GX010006.MP4 and a7sIII20201210_0393.MP4. Here is how we find a shot in that pile now, with DISKO.
Type what happened
Type electric skateboards on a boardwalk and DISKO finds the morning we geared up on a beach boardwalk. DISKO watched every clip on our own computer and wrote down what happens in it, so a plain sentence is enough. No tags, no renaming, no spreadsheet.
Golden hour, found

It brings up one person on a coastal path at golden hour. It is the kind of shot that saves a cut, and the kind you never find again by scrolling.
Your co-host, in every clip
Name someone's face once and DISKO finds them everywhere. Our co-host turns up in 57 clips from that trip, and in shoots five years later, all one search away.
New: play every match in a row
After a search, DISKO can play every match back to back, each from the moment it was found. It is a b-roll reel made from one sentence. If the reel is good, send it straight to Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve as a stringout and start cutting.
New: leave out the rest
Too many drone shots? Put a dash in front: beach -drone. A whole phrase works in quotes, and -person:Sam leaves someone out.
The rest of the trip, sorted
- An Insta360 clip comes in as one clip, not three files.
- Drone and action-cam clips land on a map from the GPS inside the file, searchable by town, even offline.
- Every word said to camera is transcribed, and captions export as SRT.
- It all runs on your machine. Nothing uploads unless you send it.
GX010006.MP4 is not a memory.
