Neon bends glass tubes along the center of any live text, shape or logo, then powers them on in the order a hand would write it, or all at once with a cold-start stutter. Each tube has a white-hot core, colored glass and a halo, throws its glow on the wall behind it, flickers now and then and hums if you want it to. Turn on Cables and the sign hangs from its wires.

Side A What it does

  1. Tubes bent along the center of any live text, shape or logo
  2. Powers on in pen order, or all at once with a stutter
  3. White-hot core, colored glass, a halo and a wide wall glow
  4. Dark unlit glass before the power comes on, and through a flicker
  5. Optional cables: wires sag between the letters and run off the frame, and in After Effects they pull tight and swing when the sign moves
  6. Flicker and buzz that follow the timeline, seeded so every render matches
  7. Your color, or each tube in the layer's own color
  8. Bloom above 1.0 in 32 bpc; 8, 16 and 32 bpc, Multi-Frame Rendering
